Our Fourth of July

My time in Oklahoma was way too brief. I miss home immensely and so many things have changed which made me really really sad. We spent the week with my dad who is retired on Grand Lake. It was good for both my dad and my girls to spend time together. Living far away is so hard. Here are some picture from our 4th of July:

The view from my dad’s porch.
The dock and boat are to the left. Off this dock, Brad and the girls would swim. If you look really close you can see Brad’s head in the water.

Boats arriving into Duck Creek.
This image does not do the magnitude of boats arriving justice. There were hundreds upon hundreds all different sizes.

Brad looks on.

Military helicopter formation flyover.
I’d also like to mention in the lower left corner the OU Sooner flag on the boat. GO SOONERS!

Mustang flyover. There were hundreds upon hundreds of boats. This image does not do the magnitude justice.

Docked and watching the Mustangs and F16 Flyovers.
Violet, our friend Donovan and Brad look on.

Paisley comes up for a brief moment.

Brad and Paisley getting ready for a swim. By the time the sun went down the area behind our boat was completely full of boats
