The bad news is that I literally walked out my door and forgot my computer…here at home.  So I spent my time in the local libraries of Tulsa checking email.  This left me unable to download pictures and put me very behind on my Project 365.  But I still took images for each day.  The theme for May is Look Up.  And thus, begins the catch up…

Okay, I know I’m a day behind on 365, I’ll make up for it.  I promise.  For the first image of May: Look Up I actually am posting something my husband took.  It’s not “quite” a Look Up, because I think he crawled up on something to be even with the subject.  But I think it’s such a great picture I’m going to post it and give him all the credit.  He shot this with his iphone.

I am a member of this little piece of blogging heaven and for the month of May the theme is LOOK UP.  I thought this was a great theme for my photo-journal.  I hope to not have to post 30 days of clouds but to think a little more creatively and shoot what is above me.  This, of course, is all part of my way of continuing Project 365 which I’m finding, once again, as being tiresome.

This Project 365 has really taught me a lot.  I’ve realized it has cycles in which I’m highly inspired and cycles where I just feel put out with it.  Sometimes I quit things based on the significance or lack thereof in my life.  Who really cares if I continue or discontinue with Project 365.  The world won’t fall apart, my children won’t starve, my days might get a little bit more free from the distraction of finding something to shoot, but in the end will I feel that I’ve accomplished something?  For me?  I feel so connected now to my Project that I don’t think I could quit if I wanted to.  It’s like my little baby that I’ve been nourishing every day now for 120 days….a third of the way there.    So, I think the theme LOOK UP will help freshen up my eyes and set me on a new course and if I end up shooting clouds and tree branches for the next 30 days then they’ll be the best clouds and tree branches I’ve ever seen.  Here’s to May’s theme: LOOK UP!

At the zoo with friends.

My three year old is crazy.  She is fearless and always into mischief.  Her favorite t.v. show right now is Lazytown, with Sporticus being her HERO.  She loves to flip and jump and be completely athletic and physical in everything that she does.  And here’s the catch, she loves wearing lipstick while doing it!

Today we went shopping.  She scouted out this particular grocery cart for some strange reason.  And then, we watched in utter dismay as she began doing all sorts of acrobatic maneuvers on the handle.  I always carry a camera with me and thought I’d share a little bit of what we as her parents go through….enjoy.
